To avoid all evils
To cultivate good
To purify one's own mind
This is a teaching of all Buddhas
To go beyond suffering

Our critic is our guide to precious treasure.

Overcome an angry person by restraining your anger.

Anger comes as a result of intolerance.

Happy is he who has killed his own anger.

No happiness surpasses peace of mind.

Practise what you preach.

One who can maintain peace of mind is happy.

But best of all, to do no evil act.

Craving and desire make a man desperately forevermore.

Indebtednees is just another kind of suffering.

The winner creates enmity; the loser is sickened by defeat.

Whatever you do, do it with all your heart and soul.

Through perseverance, comes liberation.

In the world, there is no place to hide, for the does of evil.

Those who procrastinate meet only with failure.

It is a virtue indeed to conquer oneself.

The mistakes of others are easy to see, but what of our own mistakes.
